On Rawhide
There seems to be a consensus on notable sites that rawhide is bad for the puppy. Preservatives, poor for the digestive system, potential to cause choking, etc. After review, we'll continue to give Angus pig ears, but only under supervision. He does not at this point do anything but gnaw on them. Based on what I've seen nylabone products and the ever-mentioned "kong" are good stuff. Angus is currently enjoying a "wolf-sized" edible nylabone.

Our retired racing Greyhound, Rugby, loved the dryed pig ears. They provided a nice treat and he chewed them to shreds in minutes. Enjoy your growing pup. Angus has caring owners.
