Patiently waiting for his dad to come home.
We are very lucky to have such a happy, gentle giant as part of our family.
We have been through the crazy puppy stage and the stubborn adolescent stage, people told us it would get better after he turned 2 years old. We weren't sure about that, but they were right.  All the training, patience and love pays off.
We wouldn't be without Angus for the world.
(No matter what the cats say)

Hi James,

He was about 30 inches at 7 months and I sort of stopped tracking his height and just watched his weight. Then on a whim at about 18 months I measured him and he was 33 at the shoulder, so I really dont know exactly when he put that growth on. He definitely filled out between one and three, almost 50 lbs.

My Labradane, Sam, is 12! Very old for such a huge dog. He weighs 125. Make sure yours stays lean and active. My poor guy has terrible hind leg joint problems now...on meds.

strMidnite our loving Labradane turned six in February. we adopted him when he was three months old from a small shelter which was in possession of at least 5 more of his siblings. we almost got 2 but we were told they were purebred lab puppies tho i do not think this shelter knew otherwise. he passed the coursework to be a therapy dog before he was two but is too big. he does have terrible llergy problems but we would not trade him for the world. he is about 38" to the top of his head and 150LBS. just a joy to have and a privilege to be his guardian
